About ME

Supported Child

 HI, I'M ALESSIA (SHE/HER).

I have always been curious and happy to do all kinds of sports, so it was clear to me that I will need to try one of the physical kinds of yoga (from the lineage of hatha yoga). I was thrilled, which is why I soon decided to do a training program in Vinyasa Flow Yoga.

Ever since I’ve completed the basic training (200 hours) in June 2020 I have been teaching lessons in English or Swiss German, and am always continuing my education. In 2023 I have finished my 300-hours Advanced Teacher Training and until then had specialized mainly in the field of anatomy as well as learning about yoga for burnout. I have been training in neuroanatomy since 2024, which has given me completely new insights into working with the body. For example, I not only work locally with one region of the body, but also with neuro-drills to train the brain and nervous system in relation to this region.

To me, yoga is different for everyone. I would like to meet this complexity of personalities and bodies adequately and provide individual impulses with my knowledge. 😊

I teach to adults in English and Swiss-German

  • Vinyasa yoga (including influences of power yoga) for beginners and advanced practitioners
  • Restorative yoga
  • Breathing techniques
  • Meditation

My classes have a clear structure with a specific focus. I aim for a physical practice that addresses the imbalances we tend to have due to our modern everyday lives. Regarding yoga philosophy, I mainly infuse my classes with the cultivation of awareness.
